Easyjet Cabin Baggage Allowance:
Easyjet allows passengers to bring one piece of hand luggage as a carry on that will travel with them in the cabin. The bag has no restrictions of weight but it has size limitations of 56cm x 45cm x 25cm including handles and wheels.
Passengers with EasyJet Plus, FLEXI fare, Upfront and Extra Legroom can bring an additional small bag which should be of size limitations of 45cm x 36cm x 20cm and must be placed under the seat in front.
Hand baggage is free. However if it is larger than the size restrictions,the Bag Drop desk will charge you £35 to check the bag into the aircraft hold. If you go straight to the boarding gate and your bag is oversized, you will be charged £45.
Easyjet Checked Baggage Allowance
Easyjet Allows passengers to check in up to three items of hold luggage. The size limitations for each item is under 275cm (length x width x height) total in size and under 20kg (per bag). Oversized and overweight luggage will face additional charges.
You can buy baggage on phone or online or at the airport. The fees is different for phone and online. On phone the fees is between £12 and £22. The fess at airport is £32 at the bag drop or £45 at the gate.
Easyjet Excess Baggage Allowance
If the baggage is more than the weight limit which is 20kg, then you can pay to increase your allowance up to 32kg; which is the maximum that can be accepted.
The online fee for purchasing allowance online is £3 per kg, which must be purchased in increments of 3kg. If you purchase at the airport then the fees will be £10 per kg, which must be purchased in increments of 3kg.
Easyjet Sporting Equipment and Musical instruments
You can bring Sports Equipment on Easyjet as hold luggage, which will cost an additional fee. The fess must be paid either online or at the airport. Small sports equipment will cost £35 online or £45 at the airport and large sports equipment will cost £40 online or £50 at the airport.
If you wish to take a musical instrument into the cabin, it must be smaller than 30cm x 120cm x 38cm and placed in the overhead locker. A slightly larger musical instrument can be placed in the cabin, however, you will be required to buy a seat for it. For safely reasons, instruments can only be placed in window seats and the maximum height including the case is 110cm. However, if you prefer, you can check it into the hold instead.
Any musical instrument larger than 30cm x 120cm x 38cm will be placed in the hold.
