AIRLINE TRAVEL & AIRPORTS: Xiamen to Manila

chukkoi asked:

Click on “WATCH IN HIGH QUALITY”. This is one of my return flights from Xiamen, China. I’ve flown to Xiamen lots of times on China Southern Airlines, and about twice on Philippine Airlines, and since I’ve never shown China Southern Airlines on my videos before, well, here it is. Not as emphasized as my recent travel vids though. The first half of the video features 2 days at the countryside before I left Xiamen, so that gives you an idea what life is like at the village…farm…countryside… whatever (but I sure like the place). The second half are the video clips of our departure. This vid features: -My relatives in China -Jollibee Xiamen (yup, the jolly bug made it there) -Clips of Xiamen airport and taking off -Landing in NAIA More travel vids to come so stay tuned. Thanks for watching!

wow, hokkien is the lingua franca in fujian province, beijingers call them minnan speakers, apparently hokkien is a southern minnan dialect of chinese. very different from standard mandarin.

It’s a Fukien dialect. Bo means none, lan or lang means person/man, chao means bird….

    Walang bayag… yun yon, hahaha!

Nunavut??? Wow… I was just attending a Canadian Immigration law firm yesterday as I intend to migrate to Canada… I’ve seen pics of Nunavut and it isn’t that populated. Anyway, I’ll be on the same journey, hopefully I make it to Toronto. I wish you the best of luck on that venture. At least my new posts will help ease out your homesickness, hehe!

Take care! And thank you for watching. :-)

living in a country side rural area is a respite from all the sickening lights and noise of a metropolis, like it nice plain and simple.joy and pain of immigration emerge impliedly from this video having to write instead of speaking to a relative is sad, having said that, i wish i am just walk away from them. il be working in iqaluit nunavut located just below the northpole for 2 yrs i hope i like it there, i will be leaving my fmily n frens in downtown regina canada.i really enjoy viewing ur vids

hi man, i happened to see this video, which remind me of my hometown, Xiamen City. I never went to the countryside in Xiamen though. I really envy your big family as my family had lost contact with relatives in southeast asia since my grandpa passed away. Treasure your family~

    Hahaha!!! Oo nga!

Di pa gano developed. Mas worse pa nung unang punta ko- di pa sementado yung mga daan, so imagine during rainy season, maputik.

Probinsya talaga.

    Nakakamiss!

I did, i have a video of one of my PAL flights to Xiamen in my video list.

Anyway, my grandfather felt at home flying on China Southern Airlines rather than PAL (he’s pure Chinese, so no surprise), so we frequently took CZ than PR.

Thank you for watching my vids! :-)
