AIRLINE TRAVEL & AIRPORTS: Return from Bangkok (Part 1)
Click the HQ button to watch in high quality. This is the first part of our return trip from Bangkok, Thailand (from the Thailand Trip videos) back to Manila, Philippines. This video doesn’t show any clips of aircrafts yet, as it focuses on Suvarnabhumi Airport. This video features: -Approaching the airport by cab -Suvarnabhumi’s departure hall -The airport’s food court -View from the departure hall’s observation deck -Short clips of my tour presented in the opening scene I included a short clip of my Thai friend Pat at the opening scene so he and our friends Sak and Don can watch this here at You Tube, as I promised them. This video also serves as a tribute to my Thai friends, including Wee and Nok. (Pat and friends, thank you for taking me to DJ Station, and for the tour around Bangkok during my previous trips to Thailand. I enjoyed it a lot. Yeah!) The second part of the return trip will be posted soon. Meanwhile, have fun watching!

Ha ha ha. You are like me. I love to look around airports and always go very early !!!!
Jamie
I am curious to see how Malaysia Airlines is. It would be nice to see some flight attendants on a foreign airline that look like Filipinas!
Andrew
I wasn’t able to get the name, but if you’re looking for model airplanes, there’s one shop in Greenhills, sa Virra Mall, 2nd floor yata o 3rd. Or sa SM North, sa basement going to the food court.
Raul
kuya ano name ng store na nagbebenta nang mga airplanes sa bangkok
Troy
I find it safe, just be wary of people asking for sky high prices if they know you’re a tourist. Learn to haggle and say no.
I stayed in Pratunam coz it’s close to almost anywhere I wanna go. There’s a night market near the inn where i stayed, and it’s walking distance to malls and the train station.
Lillie

Meron games, lalo na kapag morning flights at hindi inaantok mga pasahero. Kapag late na kasi in the evening, di na sila naghohold. Besides, I’d rather they don’t hold games kasi natutulog ka, biglang mag iingay sa PA system, nakakabulabog. Tapos corny naman mga prizes. Mabuti kung free tickets ang premyo.
Hazel
Mayroon bang in-flight games pag Cebu Pacific international? Alam ko domestic, meron eh. Di pa kasi kami nakapag-fly ng 5J; PAL and NW lang eh. Sinabi lang kasi sa ‘kin ng mga nakasakay ng 5J.
Daniel
Ok. Talk to you at YM… see ya!
Lester
I have never flown any Asian Airlines. Have you heard of any of these? I have flown United airlines, as you have flown, Delta Airlines, Continental Airlines, Northwest Airlines, Southwest Airlines, and American Airlines. Yet I have herd of many Asian Airlines. By the way i am on Yahoo Messanger!!
Phyllis
Really? Our house is at Corona Del Mar, near Fashion Island.
I didn’t know Boeing bought McDonnell company…ok…
My fave airline… um, Cathay Pacific, Korean Air, Singapore Airlines and, well I haven’t flown Emirates yet but it’s a favorite nonetheless.
Have you flown on any Asian carriers?
Jeanette
That’s awesome, that you have siblings in iNewport beach. I have a friend who lives there. That’s amazing!
I have heard of Lockheed, Airbus, Boeing, Bomberdier, Cessna, and emberdier. Boeing bought mcdonald Douglas.
I didn’t know you were a nurse, that’s a fun fact about you. What is your favorite Airline??
Eric
I went back home to Manila to take up Nursing. So now I’m a nurse… who likes to travel a lot, haha!
Tanya
Yup, I live in Manila, but I transit from Manila to the US sometimes coz my mom and other siblings live in Newport Beach, CA. That’s how I get my award tickets for free flights, haha!
L-1011 is a Lockheed aircraft, a bit similar to a DC-10 but has an S-type engine on its tailfin. You can check it at Google images. That used to be the aircraft of Cathay Pacific years ago, haha!
Bessie
Oh okay, now i know were the sleep area i. I’ve seen that narrow door, but never knew what it was.
You live in Manila right?? I live in Omaha, Ne. Eppley airfield is our pretty small airport only about 20 gates.. Is Manila very big?? It looks like it in your vids.
What is a L-1011 i’ve never herd of it??
Wanda
There’s a compartment at the back of the plane, near the rear galley. There’s a small door next to the lavatories which has a narrow stairs going up to the crew rest area.
After my evening flights with Cebu Pacific, I’d opt for morning flights. There’s nothing much to see at night, haha!
I was able to sit at the cockpit of a Cathay Pacific L-1011 aircraft throughout the 2 hour flight from Hong Kong to Manila. I sat at the jumpseat behind Capt. John Stone. I was 12 then.
Martha
That sounds fun!! Where do they sleep?? Did you get to see the cockpit?? One time i was on a Delta flight to Orlando, when my family went to Disney World. I was about 10 years old. The flight was very early in the morning. Bout’ 4:45 AM. I love morning flights! anyway they were so short on passengers they let and my family sit first class!!!! and i got to see the cockpit while the pilots were flying the plane! That’s when I knew I was going to be a pilot. It was a 767-300
Michael
Thanks!
One time United Airlines had a flight from Taipei to Manila using a B747-400 and there was like 30% passenger load. I was about 14 that time, and me and my younger bro were running around the aisles. We talked to FA’s who were funny coz they weren’t busy. They also showed us their sleeping quarters at the back of the 747. It was nice, though the flight was only 2 hours.
787? The dreamliner? Yeah, heard of it. I dunno if they’d cancel plans of making it.
Marilyn
WOW! you’re going to Hong Kong. Exiting! I hope you have fun. I was watching you’re vid when you went to Hong Kong on Korean Airlines, I could tell you like big airplanes Haha. I have seen many B747-400, and they look fantastic, but i have never flown one. Have you herd of the new 787 from Boeing!?!?!?!?!?
Alice
WOw, thanks!!!
Travel vid… I dunno, maybe this June coz we’re of to Hong Kong. I hope it pushes thru.
Fave airplane… used to be a B747-400. But I’m switching to A380, though I haven’t flown it yet.
Oscar

Clifford
