does credit card purchase history show travel destination in the transaction description?

Some do show this info and some don’t.

i dont think they will actually “expose” the destination part.
just the company perhaps.

i bought ticket last week for next week trip through orbitz and credit card. There is no information about departure/destination city, just booking code/confirmation only on the statement.
