Really depends on which part of the world you plan to fly from/to.

Try Singapore airlines,, they have this big plane with big space for their economy class seats…So it’s like economy plus class, since they put extra space for leg room…and they food is good usually…

As your first answer said, it depends where you’re going. To Asia, I agree that Singapore Airlines is a great airline, Cathay Pacific is as good in my opinion. On flights to Europe, Lufthansa, Virgin Atlantic, Air France and some others are excellent airlines. This website is the world’s largest passenger rating and opinion website and I agree with most of what their ratings are:
It’s interesting to note that all of the airlines that get 5-star ratings are Asian airlines and also that no American based airline that flies internationally gets more than 3 stars.

I really liked Asiana. But based on the above answers, maybe I liked it because it was just so much better than the American airlines I had flown before.

I have found that both Qatar Airways and KLM, provide excellent service and are some of the more comforatble planes to fly deck chair in. :)

Singapore Airlines has won the best airline numerous times but they do not fly to every city. Therefore it depends on where you want to go. Most of the Asian carriers such as Cathay Pacific, Asiana, Japan Airlines, ANA all offer great service. Virgin Atlantic, British Airways, Lufthansa and Air France have great service as well.

You can go to to find out seat width and pitch that is offered by the different airlines.

Really depends where you’re flying to, since each airline has its own network of destinations. But for Europe I prefer Alitalia (good food) vs. Air Canada or British Airways.
