    from my own experience I don’t think you can go past Singapore airlines, they offer competitive fares, friendly service, comfortable seating, and if you have to change over to their subsidiary “Slingair” the same applies

    You have Singapore Air, Thai Air and Qantas are what I would say are the main ones. Air China I would not touch with a barge pole!

    I also believe the previous poster meant SilkAir, not Slingair!

    Out of preference I would use Singapore Air or Thai Air.

    I like China Eastern Airlines because each seat has an electrical outlet so that you can plug in your laptop.

    if you check you can take it from gold coast to guangzhou via KL for about 50% cheaper than other airlines. they have lots of special fares currently. i just came back from vietnam and china in july and used air asia for 6 of my international flights costing a total of $1230AUS
