What are some good ways to get good prices on airline tickets?

Sleek asked: I can’t seem to find any irresistable deals. My husband and friends do, but I’m not so lucky. Do you have any tips? I USUALLY travel to see family, so I don’t usually want a hotel and/nor car, but maybe packages are better? I don’t know. I’m flexible though.airline travel
