Which airline is the most comfortable for a 6 hour flight?

Some of their aircrafts have the TV screens on the seat in front of you. Plus they do have more leg room.

Most airlines are about the same. They offer an average of 31 inches seat pitch in economy class.
JetBlue offers 34 inches on their A320′s and 32 on their E-190′s. You can upgrade and get 38 inches for an extra charge. United also has an Economy Plus section with more legroom, but it is expensive. Avoid AirTran 717′s unless you are very short. They have only 30 inches. Most commuter jets (other than JetBlue) are also very tight.
Other than those, these isn’t much difference between most major carriers for their non-commuter aircraft.

Note that JetBlue only flies from two airports in Virginia (Washington Dulles and Richmond) and to two cities in Texas (Austin and Houston). If you’re trying to get to Dallas or San Antonio, or flying from another place in Virginia, JetBlue isn’t a viable option for you.
In other words, knowing what cities you intend on flying between will help greatly in giving you a better answer to your question. Any number of airlines could be suggested for you generally, but one that doesn’t serve the places you’re flying from or to don’t help you any.

I agree, more specific details would help us, help you. Where in VA are you planning of flying out of, and where in TX are you flying to? Depending on the specifics, your flight will not be 6 hours long. More like 3.5-4 hours!! Most of the airlines that fly domestically are pretty much the same. More important, I would pick the flight that is non-stop. You don’t want to deal with connections if you can avoid it!!!
